LMWD recently completed a lead and material line survey (which included customer feedback as well as field confirmation and investigation of water lines) to ensure the lines are not comprised of lead. As a result of the customer surveys and the field work that involved visual inspections, the LMWD has been classified as a non-lead system by the state of Colorado, and we have fulfilled the EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule requirements.
